چکیده

In virtual studios, most of the setting is not constructed in reality but generated synthetically by a graphics computer and mixed into the camera image. A convincing mixing requires very precise coordination of the real camera with the graphics pipeline, especially in the case of camera moves. This process is called camera tracking. The paper describes an image-based algorithm for camera tracking. The algorithm uses real world reference points which are identified interactively in the first image and tracked in the image sequence in real-time. Based on these measurements, the camera data is calculated. The most demanding task is the smoothing of measurements and camera data to achieve stable and coherent camera moves. Kalman filtering methods are used to eliminate jitters from the calculated camera data.

Pedestrians Tracking in a Camera Network

With the increase of the number of cameras installed across a video surveillance network, the ability of security staffs to attentively scan all the video feeds actually decreases. Therefore, the need for an intelligent system that operates as a tracking system is vital for security personnel to do their jobs well. Tracking people as they move through a camera network with non-overlapping field...

Integrating the Projective Transform with Particle Filtering for Visual Tracking

This paper presents the projective particle filter, a Bayesian filtering technique integrating the projective transform, which describes the distortion of vehicle trajectories on the camera plane. The characteristics inherent to traffic monitoring, and in particular the projective transform, are integrated in the particle filtering framework in order to improve the tracking robustness and accur...

Detection and Tracking of Small Objects by Details Removal

In this paper, we deal with very small object tracking, assuming simultaneously moving camera and real time processing constraints. Considering these objects are represented in the images by detail pixels, we propose to segment images into ”detail” and ”other” pixels, using a multiresolution filtering which allows details removal. A local analysis is then performed to cluster detail pixels into...

Depth Estimation based on Stereo Camera Pairs of Color and Infrared using Cross-based Local Multipoint Filter

This paper proposes a method of acquiring threedimensional shape data about moving objects based on stereo camera pairs of the color and the infrared by projecting infrared dot patterns. Most of the methods that project infrared pattern estimate a single depth map by measuring the translation of a known pattern with an infrared camera. The aim of the proposed method is to make 3D models by inte...
